Ian White produced artworks as much in collaboration as he did individually. The form of these collaborations varied widely, depending on who he was working with and the context they were responding to.

The list here is necessarily partial, because White’s working life was filled with collaborations of different kinds, the status of which were not always clear, nor meant to be so (White was relatively disinterested in trying to differentiate his various roles). White was also an important contributor to other artists’ works in a variety of different ways, for example as ‘lead vocalist’ in Oliver Payne and Nick Relph’s video Gentlemen (2003) or ‘dramaturg’ for Grace Schwindt’s video Tenant (2011).

The list below focuses on a few key collaborations where White himself was in some way both author and performer.
